Woodturning this incredible one-of-a-kind hybrid Rubik cube giant dragon egg and epoxy resin. Since I am not expert in how to solve Rubik cubes but doing just fine to cast anything in resin I decided to go ahead and mix up some casting resin. But firstly, I prepared some Australian mallee burl wood for the base what was coloured with fast curing resin then careful secured the Rubik cube onto the base. After shaping the egg on the lathe, it was time to send and polish this beauty to achieve a glass like finish.
There is small piece hot glue left in the resin what sadly could not be removed during the turning process hence the reduced price.
